BLAMPIED 2020 LAGREIN ZERO SO2
Grown by Greg & Marg May at Blampied just outside of Daylesford, it's an incredible property 4th generation family farmers moving over to certified organics in 1989 (some of the 1st to do so in the region & Australia). A one hectare vineyard was established in 2005 at 535m ASL. this is the 1st release of Lagrein under Latta. Only one 600L Demi of this wine was produced, Its a small vineyard that always crops very well due to the fertility of the soils, ultra cool climate & the natural surrounding shelter of the vineyard.
No Sulphur has been added, all destemmed, no whole bunches, basket pressed,12 months élevage. this is super rare release. a 2021 has been produced to follow the 2020.
